United States Department of State Releases April 2015 Visa Bulletin

The April 2015 Visa Bulletin indicates that EB-2 China priority dates will advance by seven months to April 1, 2011 and EB-2 India priority date will advance by eight months to September 1, 2007. EB-3 China priority dates will retrogress by more than ten months from October 22, 2011 to January 1, 2011. EB-3 India priority dates will only see an advancement of one week to January 8, 2004. Priority dates for EB-3 Mexico and the Philippines will both advance from June 1, 2014 to October 1, 2014. The EB-3 priority date for all other countries will advance by four months to October 1, 2014. Priority dates for all EB-1 and EB-5 petitions are listed as current. Moreover, EB-2 priority dates are listed as current for all countries except for China and India.


The April 2015 Visa Bulletin shows minor advancements for family-based F-1 priority dates, which are reserved for unmarried sons and daughters of United States citizens. Priority dates for both the F-2A category (for spouses and children of permanent residents) and the F-2B category (for unmarried sons and daughters of permanent residents) will advance by several weeks. F-2A Mexico priority dates will advance to July 8, 2013, while F-2A priority dates for all other countries will advance to August 1, 2013. F-2B Mexico priority dates will be listed as February 1, 1995, and F-2B Philippines priority dates saw minor advancement to April 1, 2004. F-2B priority dates for all other countries will advance to August 22, 2008. Priority dates for the F-3 and F-4 categories also saw minor advancements.
